So nice you could spend a weekend like this with your daughter. I was a Girl Scout leader, too for many years.
Now it seems there’s less outdoor emphasis to scouting–a shame.

what a very nice visit to a memory. Those were some lucky girl scouts to have a leader able to share so much nature knowledge with them. I expect that the interest will follow them their whole lives.
