Night Insects at the Pilgrimage June 7, 2009

One of the programs we attended at the Allegany Nature Pilgrimage was Night Insects.  A very strong light was set up next to a white sheet.  It was a bit chilly and breezy, so we didn’t see a lot of insects…  But there were a few interesting visitors!

That first photo is really neat! It’s been so long since I’ve seen a Sphinx Moth. That’s a great way to see the insects
