Ahhhhh, the cleansing feeling of snow. So pure, unblemished…the nothing but whiteness.
Now having been transplanted to SW Ohio from western NY for 15 years, it’s one of the things I miss the most.
We still have our X-country skis in the barn–just in case.
Ooh pretty! Fall has only just arrived here – we should get at least a few more weeks before it gets wintery, inasmuch as it gets wintery here. Almost time to start checking the snow forecasts in the Sierra Nevada, though, and get out the XC ski gear!
Thanks for the note and the help. I am new to the blogging world, so sometimes I get behind on the technology aspects of this world! I hope you don’t mind that I link to your page — your shots are beautiful!
I know, can you believe it?
The first snowfall is always the prettiest!
I hope you still have power! I was talking to a HMANA board member near you last evening. He had 8″ of snow and no power.

Beautiful photo. I wish we would get more snow here in Washington State.
Love your photos!
