Being on the other side of the world Jennifer, I wouldn’t begin to try identification- but I am interested that you can’t take some of these feathers home. I collect many feathers on my walks, and assume any found bird feathers are for the taking, anywhere in the world. I look forward to finding out the species and legality issues with the feathers you’ve photographed.

I like to look at feathers and see if I can remember which one goes with which bird. Looks like you have it down pat.
